IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE

• The Rita (Fredenhagen) and John Harvard Early Learning Playscape is open May 1 to October 31. 
  • The water features in the Splashpad will only be turned on, weather permitting, from May 15 through September 30, on days that the temperature is above 70 degrees.
  • Water will be shut off during lightning, heavy storms, tornadoes, and for repairs as needed.
• You will receive two emails from Naper Settlement once your General Admission order is completed; your e-ticket(s) and your order receipt with additional information.
  • If you do not receive these emails, please check your SPAM folder or contact Naper Settlement at 630.420.6010.
• All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges are provided in case of inclement weather.

• Guests with resident tickets, but no resident ID will be charged general admission prices for everyone is their party upon arrival.

The Wedding Showcase at Naper Settlement is a great place for busy brides and grooms to find out how to make their special day one to remember. In the historic setting Naper Settlement, brides and grooms will have one-on-one personal consultations with the best in the wedding business including photographers, florists, ministers, musicians, bakers, caterers, and more.

CANCELLATION - This popular event has limited space. If you will not be attending after reserving admission tickets, please contact Naper Settlement at 630-420-6010 or email weddings@naperville.il.us to cancel your reservation so we can open the space to guests on the waitlist.

​​​​​​​Celebrate the wonder and joy of the holiday season with holiday crafts, stories, and more! Learn how reindeer shoes are made with a special story-time and demonstration by the blacksmith at the forge. Roast chestnuts over an open fire at the Log House. Create your own holiday crafts to take home in the Meeting House. Listen to Christmas stories in the museum’s one-room Schoolhouse. End your visit with a special family photo at our Victorian Christmas photo stop at Pine Craig Mansion.

Part of the Holly Jolly Days fun is exploring our winter wonderland, please dress for the weather as portions of this experience will be outdoors. Last entry into the event is at 5 PM.

From November 1 through April 30, the village building interiors are closed to the public. Visitors are invited to explore the changing exhibit galleries in the Pre-Emption House Visitor Center, view the exteriors of our historic buildings and enjoy a variety of interactive tours that can be accessed through the museum's On-Cell Mobile app.

   CANCELLATION NOTE:  If cancellation is requested, Naper Settlement will retain $20 of the original program fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than two weeks before the first program date.
   
   All registrants for this class must be 18+ years old.  In addition, ALL REGISTRANTS for this class must have previously completed Blacksmithing 101 - 2 Day program at Naper Settlement.

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 4 and join us from 5:00 - 7:00 PM for our holiday tree lighting ceremony at Naper Settlement.  Sponsored by the Stenger Family and open to the public. Many of our buildings will also be illuminated for all to enjoy.

In addition to the museum lighting ceremony at 5:15 PM, the event will feature time to visit with Santa, complimentary hot cocoa and cookies and an opportunity to write a letter to Santa.
